My name is Tucker Rockett, I was born October 6th 1993, in Salem Massachusetts. I was born three months premature and subsequently diagnosed with a nuerological disorder known as Cerebral Palsy. As a result of my Cerebral Palsy, I am confined to a wheelchair most of the time.

My Hometown

Even though I was born in Salem Massachusetts, I have grown up in the small coastal town of Marblehead, Massachusetts, which is about 20 minutes north of Boston. I could have not been more fortunate to have grown up in Marblehead. Not only did growing up in Marblehead afford me the opportunity to develop my undying love for all things seafood, but it also helped develop my passion for history because of its proximity to the historical city of Boston. Marblehead itself was founded in 1629 by Joseph Doliber. It became a prominent fishing village.

One of the famous residents of Marblehead was Elbridge Gerry, who became the fifth Vice President of the United States, serving under President James Madison.

My Family

My father Hilary, is a real estate developer in town and my mom is an interior designer named Paige. In terms of siblings, I have an older sister named Mary and a younger brother named Sam. Last but not least, I have an eight year old black lab named Stella.

My Education

After graduating from Marblehead High School, I went on to attend Furman University where I am currently majoring in Communication Studies.

                Goals

After graduating, I hope to get a job as a sports broadcaster, since sports is one of my biggest passions. I might as well put my head full of seemingly useless sports knowledge to use somehow.

      Hobbies

When I am not studying I enjoy traveling and trying new cuisines. I have been to Croatia and I lived in Hungary for three months. While I was in Hungary, I was part of an intense physical therapy program called Conductive Education. On my free time, I also love hanging out with friends, watching TV and movies. My favorite TV shows are “The Office” and “House of Cards.” My favorite movie is “Shawshank Redemption.”
